Wow, what a hike. A perfect day to be out. Little bit of frost in the morning that turned to mud by afternoon, but otherwise the trail is in great shape. This is the first time I've been up Mt Elden, and the views were amazing.

Saw maybe six other hikers and five mountain bikes. Only a couple people on the summit. I figured there would be many more considering it's Sunday and the nice weather.

Fall colors are done at this altitude, so look lower for that.
