| no partners | | I had plans to possibly climb four separate peaks today I got an early start, but with thunderstorms all around, I decided to knock out the easiest one first. That way if the weather prevented me from bagging the others at least I'd get one in today.
Since I could drive so close it was less than 15 minutes and I was at the summit. After a number of photos I headed toward a ridge a short distance to the west. Once on the top of the ridge I had a better look at the storms and confirmed I wouldn't have time to climb Mineral Mountain (my planned peak #2 for today) before the rain moved in. Oh well, I had a little time to wander around on my way back to the car.
Although a quick and easy hike, the humidity was so high, even with the temperature still in the 80's, I was drenched.
