Joe and I set out to do a combo of the AZT passages 11 and 12 today. We started just before 7am at the Gordon Hirabayshi Trail Head. We made our way up to Romero Pass and then thru Wilderness of Rocks and on to Summerhaven. We had completed around 19 miles at this point and decided to take a break and have some lunch. We split a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Yum.

From here we continued our journey out and across Oracle Ridge. The weather earlier in the day was a bit warm but here and on out it was nice. We finished the hike a little after 7pm at American Flag.

The trip up and over went really smooth. Great hiking with you Joe and a HUGE congratulations to you on completing the Arizona Trail! :y:
