Mount Wrightson was the plan for the day along with my trip down to Nogalas.

When I arrived at the trailhead I was promptly greeted as I parked the Cherokee. My HikeArizona sticker caught the attention of Bill a.k.a. Skyislander13. He had just finished his hike and stopped to introduce himself. I am glad he did too because I wasn't going to take my jacket but he suggested I do because of strong winds up top. He was right!

The hike was great as always but it was a short visit up top. Cold and windy would be an understatement. The snow on the northern face was hard pack and iced over in most places.

Heading down the Old Baldy Trail I had to take it easy for the first third. Slippery! :o

Bellows spring was pouring out ice cold water so I had to indulge. Delish!
