| no partners | | This was a car camp with a planned hike to the Hamburg Mine Area. I got down Friday before the others. Saturday after packing up we started the hike, but the group leader took a tumble on the trail (nothing too serious), but felt she better not continue. We all decided to stick together, call it a day, and head home. Stopped at the Carr House on the way out, and that was well worth it. Hadn't been there in years, though I drive by it all the time going up the mountain to camp.
Drove back the scenic way through Sonoita, then on the Greaterville Road through Box Canyon to Green Valley. |
