So I left Safford Friday afternoon and hung a Right in Superior...I had never been past the Cherry Creek Turnoff on 288 in the Sierra Ancha, so after that point, it was all new Territory for me...Got up to the Property and the Guys were out Shooting somewhere, so I set up Camp and then went for a Walk in the Area.
After the Guys got back, John cooked up a big Steak Dinner for everyone and we laughed our way into the Night by a Campfire...
Got up Saturday Morning and drove on up to Workman Creek...The Guys had already shot a little of it, and wanted to head directly to the Falls, so they took off up the Creek pretty quick. I took my Time since I'd never been there before. The Colors were pretty awesome in there... We hit it pretty close to Peak...The Maples, the Sycamores and even the Sumac, were just Brilliant! Met up with them a little later at the Falls and we hung out for a bit longer before getting up out of the Creek and walking the Road back to the Vehicles.
A little later in the Day, some Clouds moved in, so we left Camp again and did another Area of the Creek until almost Sunset. What a gorgeous Creek this is! More Campfire that Night and more Fun!
Sunday Morning everyone pretty much got up and decided to pack it in for the Weekend and after the Goodbyes, I was headed home after 10 Days on the Road...
Great Weekend with Good Friends! |
