I left Home the Night before to start a nice Road Trip and this was my First Stop. Spent the Night at the State Park and did the Hike the next Day.
Been awhile since I've done a Hike like this and I loved it. Took my Time and just enjoyed the Day and the Hike. I can see why they have the Cables, I imagine if you don't have decent Tread on your Feet, this could be more difficult...I cheated and wore my Camp Fours...Gotta love that C4 Rubber, sticky, sticky, sticky! Definitely one of those Hikes where going down can be more difficult.
Saw a bit of Wildlife and Laughed at some of it. I love Rock Squirrels, they seem to have so much character!
Clear Skies to start, Clouds coming in by the Finish. Awesome Views on Top.
Hit the Road after the Hike and the Clouds made me Detour out of Tucson towards Colossal Cave, in hopes of a nice Sunset. The Color never really happened, but still a nice Area.
This Hike may be off my "Must Do" List, but now it's on my "Repeat" List... Nice way to spend Christmas Eve!
Hit my next Camp Spot well after Dark. More Triplogs to follow from this Trip... |
