Day 5 and 6 of my Pinaleno Trip...

Day 5: Packed up from Treasure Park and got on my way to Twilight Campground to hopefully get some relief from my Allergy Attack. Took a few Photos along the Way and stopped at Ladybug Saddle to check Messages. The Clouds on this Day were spectacular and some of the Peaks and Ridges were Enveloped. And if the Clouds weren't enough, it was also apparent that the Maples were going to be in great Shape down here. :y:

Got to Twilight and was immediately approached by the only other Camper there. Apparently this guy can't shut off his Inside Truck Lights and drained his Battery. So after I jumped his Truck, I got Camp set up and Hiked the Road over to the Overlooks and stayed awhile, hoping for a good Sunset, but it was kind of a Bomb. Went back to Camp and settled in...

Day 6: Hiked the Twilight Spring Trail after seeing Deer first thing. What a Beautiful Hike it was. Saw some more Deer on the Hike and took lots of Photos. Dinked around in some other areas after the Hike and then went for a Drive a little further down the Swift Trail, finding more Maples and Shot Opportunities...

Another guy drove into Camp after Dark and we had quite the Conversation. He ended up Camping next to me and I followed him around while he set Beetle Traps. Turns out, he's from Florida working on his PH.D in Entomology. For his Thesis, he is studying the Chiricahua Pine White Butterfly and it's Genetic Differences between the Southern Sky Islands of AZ. I guess the Sky Islands are the only place the Southern Genus is found. I learned alot about it that Night and the next Day and it was pretty fascinating actually... :) The Beetle Traps were for a Friend of his who's also an Entomologist...I'll have more about it in the last Triplog and Photoset. Yes, I need to do one more encompassing my last two Days in the Area...

And yep, it's another Photobomb...There's a lot of Maples out there... :sl: Should be the last one though...The next two will be small in Comparison... :D
