Moisture streaming up from Mexico and Hurricane Blanca, lots of clouds when it is normally blue skies, hot and dry. Great smells of pine, oak leaves, and bracken fern. Still dominated by birds, with the upper parts being incredible. A few cicadas down lower. Perfect summit and possibly the best of the area mountain summits.
