| no partners | | | Went back up to this area to finish off the trails there, haven't quite done it yet. started before dawn again, headed east on Apache Loop, took Badger Brawl to the connector trail to Esplanade, then northeast to the Badger Brawl Trail. Did Badger Brawl in its entirety, which took me back to the trailhead. From there I did the Sidewinder around the hill by the trailhead along with the Apache Vista Trail. Again had about 2.5 miles in by the time the sun hit the horizon and finished up at 10:40am. Saw mostly bikers, the hikers don't venture far from the trailhead it seems. Very clear day, the weather is starting to get a bit warmer now. The views to the north along the Apache Vista and Sidewinder Trails were nice. |
