| no partners | | had to do a little somethin' since no hike this past weekend... again. Fortunately a hike with the girls is scheduled for Sunday . Had in mind what I wanted to do but ended up doing the circumference rather than figure 8.
*Cold. Should have warn a jacket. More people out than I thought there would be. *Found new trails on the east side. Found a totally awesome glyph. How many times have I hiked this mountain and I still find new trails and now this?! *Saw a rabbit (pretty good-sized too). *Hiked up steep trail to Summit Saddle and instead of going over I stayed on this side and headed west and then around the western humps. *Got droned (last droned on Dec 4 at Shaw Butte); wonder if this is becoming normal? or is it just me . *Made it around to north side; hiker said he was looking at the snow on the mountains. Glad he did so I looked up and over. The sun light was glaring on windows over in the east, rather cool looking as was the snow. Kemosabe picture unsuccessful.
Got back to Tonto Jr before turning into a tibbersicle; it was way cold in the shade! |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
