I've been on Circle Peak before but didn't photograph the bench marks so why not go back? The late start (7:15am) had me thinking about it heating up but the air was cool and there was a nice breeze most of the hike. The trail was good and the off trail was easy but steep. I saw another desert tortoise near the junction with Coffee Flat trail and a lot of lizards. The were several vehicles at the trailhead but no other hikers on the Dutchman trail.
