Repeat. Last week's trip was cut short due to lack of water. The intended off trail route looked ugly so it was passed on. This trip took that route and confirmed it was ugly. The ruin it went to is large and out of the way so I thought it was worth a look. The steep descent on the short route was loose with many agave and prickly pear so the return route was the easy one but added 3 miles. I saw a herd of javelina and one white-tailed deer on the hike but no photos.

The trail was mine alone and the temp was 62 degrees at 5:15am and then 92 degrees at 11:50am. :sweat:

It wasn't bad. :lol:
