Picked out a section of Perry Mesa I hadn't walked. I didn't have high expectations but there were enough things to find along the way to keep it interesting.

Nice day and with little ground cover due to a recent fire it was good walking and things like pottery pieces and grinding slicks were easy to find. I didn't see anything that looked like a stacked stone ruin though....I'm {completely) guessing that the ancient signs in this area may be a little earlier than most of the Perry Mesa sites and pit houses were used.
