Another great weather day to try a new loop for me, up Munds Wagon Trail from the Huckaby TH to Cow Pies then Hangover to return. Prior triplogs didn’t overstate the views from Hangover, this may be my new favorite hike in Sedona. Taking the Hangover from Cow Pies does seem to afford the better views, particularly after crossing the saddle.Incredibly there were a few bikers going down from the saddle. A friendly hiking group were still on the saddle as I was descending when I heard a “look out”,one of their hiking poles was taking a dive, it was audible for a good 15 seconds as it clattered toward Oak Creek.Steady stream of traffic on Schnebly Hill Rd and the parking lot was packed when I returned.No one seems to post photos of Sedona area hikes so I’ll add a few.
