Slow day at the trailhead, saw 1 through hiker and a couple of guys exploring around FR 4, several Americorps workers along Arnett Creek. By the way they are doing a great job on improving the trail along Arnett Creek and Canyon. Did some extra exploring along Arnett Creek and over to the Apache Tears mine. Very pleasant along some sections of the creek with some water flow and fall colors remaining. No wildlife or ATV’s encountered, several cattle ,one not wanting to yield the path, we kept an eye on each other as I circled around. Only the docent and 3 other vehicles in the lot when I returned.
