| no partners | | | After staying in Williams overnight following our trip to Flagstaff We were driving around the town before heading back to Phoenix via 89 out of Ash Fork. I turned down a street and found ourselves on the Perkinsville Road. I had heard of this road! And according to the sign it connected up to the 89 some 20 plus miles away. So away we went, it was a beautiful drive with some picture worthy moments. Then we came to what I had forgotten about the road, the unpaved part. At this point we had to continue on. Fortunately it was passable for our little Toyota, some stretches smoother than others but it was very doable. Eventually we found our way to Chino Valley and pavement. Highway 89 came upon us soon and it was on to Prescott! The drive contained some nice scenic views along the way and was an interesting albeit unplanned adventure. |
