Needing a trail with a little bit of up and down I headed for the Apache Wash Trailhead and my favorite little loop. Sidewinder trail to Apache Wash to Octotillo back to the trailhead. Another beautiful morning was in full fling with balloons dotting the blue sky. Temps in the fifties made for a comfortable morning and I soon shed my long sleeved shirt. I always enjoy the views that I get from this hike. I was serenaded by a mockingbird for a portion of the trail along with the occasional Cactus Wren. There was a light number of hikers and bike riders. Another good hike in the Sonoran Preserve
