Back on the circuit after over 6 weeks of extraordinary events. Started at sunrise and there was about 20 people at the TH. We all took off about the same time and I was the only one going up pyramid. I think there must of been a party up on Bursrea and I didn't know about. Had to stop and checkout the bees and their honeycomb. Wind was blowing some until I got up to Goat Hill. There is was gusts about, I say, 30 MPH. Had shorts on but long sleeves felt great. Even the hummingbird that buzzed me was having a hard time. Ended up coming down the wash between Lost Ranch Mine and Eliminator. Don’t know how I did that. Wrong turn somewhere. I see the park rangers have been busy. I noticed at least three AREA CLOSED signs over the course of the hike. 😖 last person I saw was at the intersection of pyramid and national until I got back to the TH. Got warm by the time I got back and my sleeves came off at the PL. About 10 cars in the lot. Great day, great hike!
Happy hiking
