I had my sights set on a longer hike but played it safe. I pulled something or other in my knee on the cave excursion and was testing it out. Everything was fine but thought it best to give it a few more days before going long. I went counter-clockwise this trip. The start was cold at 7:30am and I didn't catch the sunshine for a few miles in. There were several hikers out but the trails weren't busy. The area could use some rain to start the healing.
