Trying to get one in every day.
This is by the Atascosa Ranch Corral.
Right across the road people shoot guns into the canyon.
Personally I would prefer a good hillside backdrop as opposed to an entire open canyon but
it seem to be "the" place to go around here.

Wise mesa to Ramanote
8:55 left the truck
9:17 in the canyon – Cliffed out 2x
9:30 at the end of the side canyon – cliff
9:32 pot
9:43 back in canyon headed up a diff way
9:48 first water stop half way up
10:21 – back at the truck
One hour and 15 min
1:5 miles
350 feet down the 200 up the other side
Extremely steep and I pretty much struck a straight line from the truck to the end.
Found 6 bails of Marijuana
This one got cut short because The way I wanted to go was cut off by a cliff.
And..
I was tired from the one yesterday. |
