My family accompanied me and I tried to pick a relatively easy trail, but I think this would have been considered hard. The mile hike in was all uphill. The trail continues and maybe one day I'll finish it to see where it goes. On the way back, we were graced by a baby rattler hidden in the leaves on the trail. Even though tiny, it still looked dangerous! We choose to walked through the bushes to get around it (probably not the safer choice considering). Loved having my family hike with me!!! I hope I didn't scare them off by the difficulty and snake encounter. |
