| no partners | | | #29 of 50 hikes. Bells Canyon Trail and Lower Falls is located in Sandy, Utah by Little Cottonwood Canyon. The trail passes Bells Reservoir up into the canyon to an amazing waterfall. It was quite a gushy, rapid river and the waterfall cast such a mist that the surrounding area was wet and muddy. It was a uphill, rocky trail but well worth the effort. I went with a co-worker, David, and enjoyed the early morning hike into the pine trees to beat the summer heat. The sun didn't reach us until we were on our way back and there were plenty of beautiful wildflowers. |
