The lower portion of the trail is beginning to remind me of the jungle flora arches over the Towhee Trail in Cave Creek. Dangerous humidity in the Marine layer this morning. White Tanks were under a stationary cloud while SoMo was in the beautiful sun. Globemallow is starting to bloom alongside the trail. Butterflies dancing in tall stalks of grass near the summit. Clear teal pools of life dot the journey.

Halfway down the sun popped out. Hello's returned with enthusiasm and the nightmare was over.
