| no partners | | This was a sandwich day in between a couple of hikes that I wanted to do, and since my hiking buddy had never done this one we decided to add it to our itinerary. I had done the hike last summer, and didn't mind doing it again.
We drove in and parked about 3/4 mile past Timber Creek CG, which is about as far as you can go on the road. We were in his CRV, and it wasn't a problem to get there.
The hike followed a trail much of the way, but then there is slope that you have to go up to get to a ridgeline. There are some talus fields on the slope, but we managed to avoid them for the most part. Once on the ridgeline, it is easy hike over to the summit.
This isn't my favorite hike ever, but there are some nice views on the summit, so I was glad to do this one again. |

Wildflowers Observation Moderate
There were some sections lower down that had some nice spring flowers, and there were lots of small flowers on the slope up to the ridgeline. |
