I was heading back to the VOS and decided to stop off in Flag and do my 31st ascent of Humphreys.

There are still some snowy sections on the trail, and I put on microspikes for a portion of the hike. However, I did not see anyone else wearing them. I think that most people would find them useful at the present time, but I guess that you don't HAVE to wear them. I was glad to have them on however.

On the way up I did not see anyone until I got to Agassiz Saddle. I met quite a few people coming up on my way down.

It was a nice day for the hike, although it was breezy between the saddle and the summit.

With the snow, the hike definitely took more time and energy. I think that I will wait on more snow to melt before doing this one again.
