Decided to hit the water early in hopes to get some paddling in before storms fired. It was cloudy to begin with and eventually some non-electrical rain made an unusual mess of the morning. I was hoping the early shower would delay the onset of more severe weather, but that's not how it works up here apparently, and as we reached Rock Xing ABC, the forecast was updated to partly to mostly get off the water. We fell behind on that too and dodged a bolt or two as we got absolutely drenched. Good times. Beats the living flock out of the valley right now.
