I tagged along on the hike Linda and Chris had planned to ensure Linda wasn't too hard on Chris. It was a chilly 34 degrees to start, with scattered fog.

My feet got wet right from the start with the first creek crossing. The miles passed quickly with our banter and conversation. At the cabin, we admired the recently updated roof that kept the elements out of the structure.

We enjoyed a leisurely lunch and began our return journey. Since Linda and Chris hadn't been to the cave before, I acted as their tour guide. On the way back, we encountered three backpackers and their dog heading in.

It was great to meet Chris. We had fun showering Linda with endless compliments throughout the hike.
