This is another one that’s been on my get-around-to-it list for years. A recent triplog pushed it up my priority list.

Had the trail to ourselves with the exception of one small group we passed on the way back.

Visited the Perez cabin as well as Toney. Nice work by those who have pepped up Toney. Detailed history of the place is in a binder in the cabin.

The cave was fun too. Need to bring a rope to go very far.

On the way back, we detoured off the trail to walk through a narrow section of the canyon. Highly recommend.

I’ll need to come back when the leaves are on the trees.
