Uneventful hike to finger rock. I tried to convince my kids to do an extra 2 miles so we could do the full loop, but they were absolutely not having it!!

Despite the hike being shorter than desired, it was a beautiful day. Lots of people and horses on the trail. The parking lot was nearing capacity when we arrived at 10a (kids also will not get up early!!

).

Plenty of big pools of water.
