The hike started of a bit warm. As we climbed up the Parker creek trail, a cool breeze made it almost chilly. To my surprise, all of the dead fall near the Rim trail was cleaned up . In fact the start of the Rim trail was also clear of any debris. We made to the workman's creek road and then down to the falls. The falls were flowing pretty good. As we started back, the sky grew dark and it started drizzle on us. After a bit, the sky cleared up. This was a fun hike. I really enjoy this trail. Its easy to get to and you get a great workout in the shade of trees. As we driving home we had a couple of rainbows in the sky. One of them was over the Sierra Anchas. |
