UR: Small Scabious or the Pincushion Flower. FYI - The name "Scabiosa" comes from the Latin word scabies (meaning "itch"). In ancient traditional medicine, various species of this plant were believed to help cure skin irritations and even the plague, though today they are mostly just enjoyed for their beauty!
