It was great that we would get to see a good section of this Braña de Mumián. I would liked to have known how many head they run and acreage. I can't imagine very much so it makes me wonder how profitable it is. I guess I could research it further.

Anyway, here is some great info for you:
The Teitos:** The most iconic elements are the **stone huts with broom-thatched roofs**, known as *teitos*. These structures were historically used by shepherds as seasonal dwellings and stables. You can see several of them scattered across the hillside, some featuring the traditional rounded, mossy roofs that blend perfectly into the terrain.
* **Stone-Walled Pastures:** The hillside is a mosaic of vibrant green "prados" (meadows) separated by **ancestral dry-stone walls**. These enclosures were used to manage livestock and protect small hay crops from the wind and wildlife.
* **Glacial Topography:** The rolling, verdant hills in the mid-ground give way to the stark, grey limestone crags of the **Sierra de Perchunes** on the left. The soft curves of the pastures are a direct result of the glacial activity that shaped these valleys thousands of years ago.
