Great day on one of my favorite hikes. Crossed paths with Boone, Mark, Kyle, John9L, John jjiii & Drew. Perhaps saw Jim and Cindy on Doyle at 12:30pm too in the far distance.

Sad to see the burned trees from last years fire. The majority of the Inner Basin survived. Looks like any burned trees near the road have been cut and removed so no clue why they're claiming it needs to be closed. Longer hike with less people, let's not tell them this is actually better :-$

We hiked the newer designated #29. It offers nice views yet I still enjoy the road too. T'was a windy day on Humphreys!
