There were a few stops along the way to chat with folks, but otherwise I kept a steady though slow pace. (I finally gave in and have gone to the doctor to get some imaging/x-rays done on the leg to see what is going on. It is pretty frustrating not to be able to hike like I used to, but the chronic pain is what is finally driving me to take action).
