I went up the Barnhardt trail to the Mazatzal Divide to the north. I went past the park, but there was no one playing.

It was nice going through section that the NPS cleared out last spring. There was three new fallen trees. There was no flowing water. The creeks, washes and springs were all dry.

On the way back I saw a dead deer right off the trail. I smelled it long before I saw it.
I didn't see any people out or vehicles in the lot.

I was surprised how bright the moon was. I hiked by moon light till I went by the big waterfall.

On the way home I saw the prescribed burn on Mt.Ord. At first I thought it real fire.
