I went up mid-afternoon. Boy were there a lot of people on the trail today. I don't recall ever seeing so many people hiking in jeans.

I had a chance to chat with a nice family that was here visiting from Iowa. They all made it to the top which was cool.

On a side note the trail has been hit again with paint. This time with white trail guiding dots. They are about the size of a quarter. While I don't agree with this at all it is about as minimalistic as it can be. Personally I don't see myself going out to remove them as I think they will just get replaced eventually with something much worse like what we saw in the past.
