Arrived at Mining Camp in time to play catch up with the group from Tibber's Birthday Bash on their way up Siphon Draw. Some familiar faces, some new - all good company as usual. Subgroups formed and reached their various destinations for turnaround, with Oregon Hiker, Lori, and myself continuing on to the top. Once there, we took in the view and snacked. Lori took First Place with her unique butterfly-bread sandwich, inspiring me to put a little more effort into my summit repasts.

Needing to be back home in time for the 4:00 show of "Everest" and a birthday party, I headed down early, joining the group at Mining Camp as they finished lunch. Though not having time for a beer, I did get to socialize a bit in the cool corner booth before hitting the road. Maybe next time.
