Hiked from the north trailhead to Tom's Thumb and back. Stopped for lunch at the Thumb. Had a feathered friend welcome me in the parking lot - perched on my car right side mirror while I took his picture. Had a furry friend join me for lunch - gave him a spinach leaf from my sandwich. Always nice to have friends join you on a hike.
