I met up with my previous online friend Dave of @wildernessdave fame and off we went to Payson. My first actual trip to Payson either to hike or just to visit Payson. Gosh I love Rim Country. I also got my first good look of the backside of the Mazatzals along 87 as previously I had only been to Ord. Beautiful country.

We just sort of made our way, stopping to take pics, or just generally goof off, which was kind of nice as some of you know I'm pretty meticulous about not dilly dallying but it was good to just kind of relax.

I thoroughly enjoyed my two trips to Rim Country and definitely plan to go back and explore more! Horton Creek has some flow! :y:
