Probably my last big hike of the year. I'm not one to only do desert hikes in winter, and in general I prefer it warmer and with a longer day, but today had really nice conditions to hike Estrella Peak. The air was much cleaner this time. Visible snow on the Catalinas. Hiking up I took the wrong canyon early on and ended up meeting the ridge west of the summit. This canyon is much harder than the other way, I thought, but I was able to go up it. I came down the usual slope.

Parked in the same spot as last time, but I see the stats are updated and higher than before, I think. I won't be changing them to reflect my now lower year old hike stats, even if I did more road walking than the GPS.
