| partners | | Looking back prior-to today, between March'07 and December'10, I actually posted a total of 18 triplogs for this Byous Butte off-trail hike area  . Then a ~9 year absence  and today-1/17/19, I post my return 19th triplog.
Obviously, I have enjoyed this AZ Tonto National Forest, higher desert, scenic, off-trail hiking area and today was another opportunity to enjoy it once again and to reminisce of previous very enjoyable times and memories here past with many good friends and acquanticiences. Thanks Larry for driving and joining me for this return trip after so many years of being away. A lot of driving I know for only a 2 mile roundtrip off-trail day hike.
I spent a number of these past 19 day hike trips from March'07 working to vegetation clear, to rock cairn, and to finalize an "official" GPS Hiking Route-  [ gps route ] up to Byous Butte Saddles 1, 2, 3, & to 3 Hi-ViewPt - [ photo ] from the recommended TH Start as now detailed in the "Driving Directions" section for this Byous Butte hike guide.
My fourth trip since YR2007 to this Saddle 3 Hi-ViewPt was Oregon_Hiker and my planned destination this day and a most enjoyable reunion with an old favorite it was!
