Usually frequent occurrence, it had been quite some time since I encountered any wild horses, deer or javelina in the area between Usery Pass Road and Forest Road 10 (in Bulldog) so I figured it would be worth a loop through the area. To have the best chance of spotting any of the wildlife, I ascended the northern ridge to the north saddle of Lone Mountain before circling back along various washes.

No luck today... no game, no snakes, not even a single lizard.
