A whole lot of climbing, plenty of fox-tails and yes, more climbing. And like our Deep Creek hike yesterday, it was a foregone conclusion we would not reach the end before turning back.

We did make one attempt to create a loop by returning in the wash, but only after descending 150 feet would we find nothing but a treacherous last 30' drop to the wash. And so we had the same 150' to climb back up before going back 'down' on the Tule Canyon trail.
