Perfect weather, though typically hot in the WOR. Lots of Hermit Thrushes and other birds. Evening cool hiking up the Aspen is really refreshing. Turns out I was right behind Linda as her group took a lot of breaks despite starting hours before me. Lots of water flowing up higher on the road, which was a good sign. While a very long drive, this is a nice hike at this time of year. |
