The parking lot at the Massacre TH was packed. I am sure it was like Disneyland at Massacre Falls. We came across two groups heading down once we got into the drainage. We met another fellow hiker when we got up there. Other than that, we had the place to ourselves. We came across another hiker on the way out. The flow on the falls was very nice and made for some amazing views. The clouds did not cooperate much, and it was actually chilly up there. Yet, it was still an awesome day!
The word on this place is out, but I have been unwilling to share the location with the general public. I am afraid it's only a matter of time before this place gets the crowds. Although, it seems someone knocked every cairn down along the trail again. Gee, I wonder who that could have been? |
