| no partners | | Nice little lasso loop trail in the Cave Creek Regional Park but starting from the P.A. Seitts Trailhead. State Land Trust permit required to enter from the east side like this. Route shown in photoset. Solo hike this morning as Mrs. SloFolks is still recovering from her fall on this same trail last week. Turns out she has a hairline fracture on the left side of her face.
A marvelous 57 degrees at the start. Temps briefly dropped to downright chilly when I crossed Cave Creek but then the giant orb started to do it's thing! Nice breeze for the duration of the hike.
Saw several mountain bikers, and one couple with a dog who was not a good boy. Total nutcase German Shorthair Pointer. Nice to feel these cooler temps without the 2 hour drive. |
