On the fly plan B hike. Trailhead was about a third full when we arrived, and near capacity when we returned. We did this hike a little more than a year ago so no worries not having a loaded route. Saw some dead cattle in Alamo so wondered if by decease, predator, or? The windmill in Alamo was operational and pumping water. High winds picked up when we reached the ridge line section of the hike so at the earliest opportunity we made our decent to the current section of the AZT. Saw a couple mountain bikers but other than that didn't see any others until we got within a mile of the trailhead. Plan B turned out to be a great decision.

The latest version of RS worked great :)
