Anyway it was a nice cool 28 degrees at the start. No breeze at all and the mud crunching under foot. It really doesn't get any better. The trail is coming back around after being washed out. There are a few areas with downed trees but it's easy to get by. I was intending on hiking the loop but opted for the shorter way back to avoid the event traffic getting home. I still took a few detours to look around and hiked up to a ruin Lee pointed out several years ago. There were some backpackers and hikers coming in on my trip out. The mud had thawed by then and stuck to your shoes. I tracked mud into the house but I can do that without worry. Just a nice walk in the Supes.
