| no partners | | More driving than walking. Rain has hammered the general areas the last few days and areas show still pools from run off. Some of my ex coworkers and I will be doing some general exploration down here the day after the 4th so I decided to see what was going on with the roads.
Good test for my knee ( in a snazzy carbon fiber brace) and the Jeep which has a new thermostat due to it seeming to have had a coolant leak on my last long driving trip. It ran a little hot once but then seemed to calm down for the rest of the time. Big tires and winch up front-- lots of work for the little pentastar engine.
I went to most of the usual suspects and had some reward. I almost sank in the mud getting one picture of the Jeep. Very humid but no bugs except the ever present ants it seemed everywhere I parked and got out. Saw a wall I don't think I had noticed before but I can't be sure. Seems rancher or miner originated.
The Jeep is very muddy and I refuse to wash it because it's supposed to rain down there most of the week and I'll be back in all the mud holes anyway. |
